But we still love it there and will stay there whenever we are in town. Often, my husband and I gather them up and put them away just because of pride in Harrahs and we dont want people seeing it like that. Also, the people who are supposed to pick up used towels by the pool are very lax. I will say that on our last few visits that the hot tub was very cloudy. We get in the pool all winter and it's beautiful out there. Patti is awesome and everyone works really hard to make sure we are taken care of. Our cocktail waitresses are so nice and personable and they check back with us often. Everyone is smiling and that is nice to see. The desk clerk did say he would call if he found another room but he never did.Everyone who works at Harrahs is so friendly and they greet us in the halls, lobby, etc. The last few times we went but they wouldnt change it. That was not true because we already knew that every other room had beds facing the gulf. I couldnt see it from the bed and immediately informed the desk clerk where they checked with the maids and were told that none of the beds faced the water.

They gave me a west facing room twice in a row where you have to go to the window to see the gulf. I make my reservations far in advance and ask for 2 queens facing the gulf but rarely get them. We love it there and basically have no complaints at all. We have been going to Harrahs Gulf Coast every two weeks for about a year and a half on business.
